Net 5
Working at iBase I was in charge of designing the overall look and feel of the Net5 product using hand–coded XHTML and CSS. The top demonstration design has a flexible layout using negative margins whilst the second demonstration is a fixed layout. Below are some of the Net 5 projects I have designed and/or built over the past 2 years.

The East Riding Image Collection
Using the Net5 framework I designed and built this image collection. The remit was to keep the look and feel as close to their main site as possible. Accessibility was a key issue here, so as with all our Net5 sites we built it to comply with W3C and WAI standards.

The Manchester Metropolitan Library Image Collection
Using the Net5 framework I designed and built this collection site. The remit was to give the site it’s own identity but, at the same time make it clear that it was still part of the MMU.

The Bradford Museums & Galleries Image Collection
Based on Net5 I had to build their design into our framework.

Computers in Teaching Initiative for Geography, Geology and Meteorolgy
This is my last entry into my profile. It‘s in my portfolio simply because it‘s still there. I last worked on the project in 1997 and it hasn‘t changed one bit. The world is my very first image that I ‘designed’ for the web. Also I would like to point out the very first image map I ever produced. Ah well.
